This campaign supported the Phase 1 launch of PayPal’s new “Business Profile” for 2 million business account holders. The goal was to encourage profile creation and educate users on the new app experience.The new app and shareable business profile helps micro businesses, especially side hustlers, find customers, drive sales, and manage operations.
Invoice Early Tenure Lifecycle Program
Email Campaign
The project addresses a gap in the Invoicing Marketing lifecycle. Currently, merchants receive limited marketing until signs of churn appear, missing opportunities to nurture and retain active users. The project aims to enhance retention rates and promote long-term usage of the invoicing platform.
PPBL & LBAPS Annual Creative Refresh
This campaign, completed over four phases, highlights the benefits of merchant loans: fast funding, simple repayment, and transparent terms without hidden fees or credit checks. They showcase how financing can drive business success by enabling growth, capturing opportunities, and purchasing inventory.
PPH to Zettle Migration
The program aimed to encourage US and UK customers to migrate from PayPal Here (PPH) to Zettle before the PPH sunset date. Customers were prompted to redeem and begin using a free Zettle card reader. The main KPI was the number of merchants who made the switch.
Buy Now Pay Later, Partner
The objective of this project was to integrate Pay Later on BigCommerce and WooCommerce checkouts, offering customers flexible payment options with easy activation and messaging setup.
BDMC Digital Card Launch
Challenge: BDMC aims to improve penetration and activation by launching a digital card experience for eligible cardholders. This initiative offers immediate access, cutting wait times from days to instant activation, and enables automatic card issuance for pre-approved merchants.
KPIs: Increase First-Time Use (FTU), Activation (first transaction), Adoption (10 transactions), and Monthly Active Users (MAU) with enhanced retention.
Invoicing Campaign Retention, Churn/Save
The program aimed to re-engage merchants with PayPal invoicing by updating them on recent invoicing features. Key KPIs included boosting usage, Total Payment Volume (TPV), sent-to-paid conversion rates, and improving retention through churn reduction, re-engagement, and incremental revenue.
PPWC International Annual Refresh
The purpose of this campaign was to develop email and onsite messaging to promote merchant loans, highlighting fast funding, simple repayment, and no hidden fees. Content demonstrates how loans can drive growth, fund new opportunities, and support inventory needs. The SL test measures if personalized messages (using business names) boosts engagement over generic ones. Key KPIs include Adoption Rate, Applications, and Upper Funnel Engagement.
BDMC Mastercard Sweepstakes
This campaign targeted all BDMC cardholders to boost card usage. Cardholders who used their debit card during the promotion period had a chance to win a trip to a Champions League Semi-Final. The promotion aimed to encourage repeat usage and increase transaction frequency and spending among existing BDMC users.

There were two primary objectives for this project. With our paid social assets, we wanted to increase reach through addition of a new channel in paid social (UK only). With our paid display assets we want to re-engage with the audience with a refreshed look and feel. The customer action was to apply for a PPWC loan.

The project aimed to create an invoice adoption program showcasing PayPal's invoicing benefits to encourage merchants to send 10+ invoices. The goal was to increase adoption and regular use. Two approaches were tested: one focusing on the features and benefits, and the other addressing merchant needs and pain points.
